Meet the Chef - Jason Marchant

Our New and exciting Head Chef Jason Marchant joins us at  No 12 after a successful career at  Northbank restaurant St Pauls London .

Jason joined Northbank as a Sous Chef in 2010 and was promoted over the years to Head Chef.

His training included large scale event catering followed by three and a half years at Claridge's under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Martyn Nail and Premier Sous Chef Andrew Jones who had won the esteemed Roux scholarship.

Jason then set his sights on Rotunda in Kings Cross where he honed his butchery skills and D&D's Floridita in Soho before joining the team at Northbank.

At No 12 Jason is keen to promote small independent British suppliers in his menus, namely local farmer in Surrey and Sussex and continue his close relationship with Lake district farms who produce exceptional beef.

In addition to his passion for food and restaurants, Jason is an avid supporter of motor sport, Formula 1 in particular and Tottenham Hotspurs (nobodies perfect)
